New to YouTube? Here’s How to Find the Right Keywords! – Earn money on youtube

To analyze keywords effectively when doing YouTube, these are the strongest tools and strategies that you must use if you want to do things properly and earn real money on YouTube:

🔍 Tool #1: The “Thumbnail → Seed Keyword” Mindset

(Learned from real-world coaching sessions)

Look at the top-performing video thumbnails, guess what the content is about → write down keyword phrases that describe it.

Then search those phrases on YouTube to see if there are lots of million-view videos → if yes, that’s a solid seed keyword.

From that key, dive into similar million-view videos → extract the keywords that YouTube is truly prioritizing.

⚠ This is a battle-tested mindset. It’s not a tool, but it’s extremely effective. And without it, no tool will help you earn money on YouTube.

🛠 Tool #2: OneMoreTen

Heavily featured in Phúc BANI’s training system.

Use it to track trends, find hot keywords and topics.

You can analyze competitors’ channels to find videos with high views but few uploads → these are high potential trending keys.

🛠 Tool #3: VidIQ or TubeBuddy (optional)

Mentioned during Zoom sessions for newbies but not essential if you already use OneMoreTen and the thumbnail-seed-key strategy.

They can help track search volume, competition scores, and suggest related keywords.

⚠ Don’t become tool-dependent. If you lack keyword mindset, even the best tools are useless. They won’t help you earn money on YouTube.

Tool #4: ChatGPT + Gemini for content outlining → keyword mining

Use this process:
Thumbnail → describe the content → let ChatGPT build the outline → extract all related keywords from that outline.

💥 Conclusion:

Stop looking for tools. Start mastering the strategy.

Tools are just scissors. Cut the wrong way, and it’s still ruined.

The right mindset is:

  • Start from thumbnails → find seed keywords
  • Use OneMoreTen + validate them on YouTube
  • Analyze million-view videos → extract real-performing keywords
  • Build content around those keywords → test 10 videos
  • Whichever key gains traction → scale that series

You want to earn money on YouTube? Then stop being lazy. Stop guessing.
Keywords are the blood of your channel. No blood, no life.

🔒 Critical Keyword Analysis Rules (Break even one = kill your channel):

1. Never choose keywords by gut feeling
If it just “sounds good,” that’s a fast way to fail.
Only trust data: views, subs, upload date, trend. Data is king.

2. Prioritize keywords derived from million-view thumbnails
Guess the content from a powerful thumbnail → jot down 3-5 keyword ideas → check if they link to million-view content.
If not, drop it. Don’t force it.

3. Verify “GOOD KEYWORDS” = few videos, many views, many subs
Extract keywords from channels that:

  • Have few videos
  • But lots of views
  • And many subscribers
→ These are the golden keys to earn money on YouTube.

4. Stick to your niche keywords
One channel. One niche. One keyword cluster.
Commit to that cluster for at least 10 videos before testing new topics.
If you go off-track → YouTube won’t know what your channel is about.

5. Don’t copy random titles
Copying titles from other channels without understanding their niche or keyword strategy will break your video from the start.

6. Tools are assistants, not solutions
VidIQ, ChatGPT, and TubeBuddy are helpers.
If you don’t already know the hot keywords that help you earn money on YouTube, they’ll just give you garbage suggestions.

7. Don’t stop at the seed keyword
Once you find a good one, go deeper:

  • Study the top-performing videos using that key
  • Analyze title – description – hashtags
→ Extract the real keyword set from them.

8. Create a Keyword Tracker File
Use Google Sheets or Excel to log:

  • Main keyword
  • Supporting keywords
  • How many videos you’ve made
  • Which videos are gaining views → scale those

9. Don’t chase viral videos blindly
Just because a video hit a million doesn’t mean copying it will work.
Understand the key, the channel style, the target audience. Otherwise you’re guessing.

10. “Abandon the channel, not the keyword”
If your current channel is directionless but your keyword is hot → kill the channel and start a new one, but keep the keyword strategy.

🚨 FINAL NOTE:

Keyword = Compass. Without the right keywords, your video journey is meaningless.
You want to earn money on YouTube?
Then build your content around strong, proven keywords – or don’t build at all.
